Black Belgian marble plaque with nine micromosaics on Rome.
The central micromosaic depicts St. Peter.
The other micromosaics depict:
Arch of Titus, Roman Forum, Pantheon, Pyramid, Temple of Hercules Victor, Campidoglio staircase, Colosseum.
The plaque has a scratch on the top left as shown in the photos.

The Vatican Mosaic Studio, housed today in the ancient Hospice of Santa Marta, in the Vatican City, is a historic institution that is about three centuries old. Annexed to the Reverend Fabbrica di San Pietro (the pontifical institution responsible for the care of the Basilica), it was born in 1727, following the decision of Pope Benedict XIII Orsini (1724-1730) to create a stable body of mosaicists to ensure the completion of the decoration mosaic of San Pietro.
